Biography   |   Back To Home

I was driven to paint at the age of 17 by a deep compulsion to express things that, at the time, could not be said. Figurative and abstract art developed into a vital emotional outlet as my artistic curriculum extended into adulthood. I majored in Painting and Art History at Savannah College of Art and Design and the University of Oregon.

My most recent exhibit inaugurated an annual Holiday Lites Art Show & Benefit (December 2007). The show was designed to empower and benefit women and children in the community. Proceeds from the event benefited / went to The Shelter for Battered Women and fostered awareness and support of contemporary domestic issues.
